John has enjoyed working in a number of sectors including Legal, Oil and Gas, Financial Services, Public Sector, Telecoms and FMCG organizations.  He places particular emphasis on achieving tangible business performance outcomes relating to individuals or teams, enabling alignment and engagement to organisational goals and strategic intent and is recognised for his ‘commercial edge’. Some examples of his work include;

  • Supporting the executive leadership development priorities of a new entrant to the UK Banking sector, including business priorities facilitation, talent and high potential support and team effectiveness
  • Designing and implementing a Talent Management/Succession Planning process for a leading City Bank
  • Designing and implementing a leadership development process for all leadership populations within a European Drinks FMCG organisation
  • Enabling the chairman and executive team of a leading professional firm to adapt to new markets via a new governance model and business planning process

Educated at Strathclyde University, Ashridge, London University Birkbeck College Spent 4 years based in New York as SVP of a Global Professional Services firm which involved extensive Global travel.
