Working with RTC
Helen had an 18-year career as a University lecturer, both in Psychology and Community Youth Work at the University of Ulster, as well as working as a client-centred therapist in the voluntary and private sector.
Background and Industry Experience
Prior to this, Helen worked in voluntary sector management and academic administration. The last few years have been spent developing a portfolio of work with a range of Employee Assistance providers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Qualifications and Training
Helen’s entry into the world of coaching has been a natural progression and although skilled in all aspects of executive coaching, she has an interest in the use of mindfulness in coaching and in developing a safe and creative thinking space for the modern leader.
Helen holds an MA in Modern Languages, majoring in French, from the University of Edinburgh, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Languages from the University of Ulster, a Postgraduate Diploma in Person-centred Counselling from the University of Strathclyde and has undertaken the 8-week foundation course in Mindfulness-based stress reduction.
